Motiva’s executive vice president and CFO Rose Sink retired on Monday after more than 30 years in the industry. Rose joined Motiva in 2014 as general manager of supply and logistics and became CFO in 2020, overseeing accounting, audit, treasury, tax, compliance and trading risk management.
Glenn Carter, Motiva’s controller and vice president of enterprise risk, will step into her shoes as as CFO. Glenn has nearly 30 years of experience in energy finance and accounting, including 14 years with Motiva. In his current role he led financial reporting, internal controls and compliance with accounting standards while managing enterprise risk programs.
ExxonMobil named Basel Al-Aghbar its vice president of global basestocks and waxes, a role in which he will oversee operations that support lubricant and chemical products worldwide. Basel has been with the company for 26 years, beginning as a business analyst in aviation fuels at Imperial Oil, ExxonMobil’s Canadian affiliate, and has since held leadership positions in fuels, lubricants and chemicals.
Lubrizol has appointed Abhishek Shrivastava as managing director for India, the Middle East and Africa, where he will oversee regional operations and support for customers. Abhishek, who brings nearly 20 years of industry experience, will focus on local innovation, manufacturing and supply chain capabilities, and workforce development. He previously served as vice president of innovation and decision science, leading new business platforms, sustainable product development and digital initiatives.
