Chevron Marine Products has developed HDAX 9700, a lubricating oil formulated for use with both liquefied natural gas and low-sulphur liquid fuels, enabling engine operators to use a single oil across fuel types. The product recently received approval from Man Energy Solutions for four-stroke engines operating on LNG or distillates with sulphur content up to 0.1%, and it has also completed successful testing on Wartsila dual-fuel engines. HDAX 9700 is recommended for dual-fuel, medium-speed, four-stroke trunk piston engines running on natural gas with diesel pilot ignition or low sulphur fuels.

Petronas Lubricants India Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Petronas Lubricants International, signed an aftermarket service-fill agreement with Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. to become the exclusive supplier of vehicle fluids to its dealerships and stockists across India. The contract covers more than 80 products, including engine, transmission, axle and steering fluids, for both passenger and commercial vehicles, increasing Petronas’ presence in the Indian automotive lubricant market.

Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. has entered into an agreement with Shell Pilipinas Corp., naming it the official lubricant supplier for Hyundai’s certified dealerships nationwide. Shell will provide a full range of fully synthetic and semi-synthetic engine oils tailored for Hyundai models, aiming to maintain product consistency across service centers while supporting performance and safety standards for customers.
