Shell launched a portfolio of transformer insulating liquids called Shell Midel, made from a range of natural and synthetic ester-based fluids. Shell acquired Midel from UK company M&I Materials, as well as its direct immersion cooling Mivolt range for battery energy storage, data centers and e-mobility.
Vibra Energia introduced its Lubrax Top Auto lubricant range into the Brazilian market, developed for hybrid vehicles and compliant with the new API SQ/ILSAC GF-7 specification. Brazilian lube company Vibra was spun off from Petrobras in 2021 and has a 17% share of the country’s lubricant market, behind Iconic and Moove.
South Korea’s Daewoo partnered with Mangali Industries, which will market Daewoo’s range of two-wheeler, passenger car, commercial vehicle and agriculture lubricants.
