San Joaquin Refining, a United States-based naphthenic base oil producer, plans to temporarily shut down its refinery in Bakersfield, Calif., for maintenance according to industry information provider Polymerupdate. According to the report, the work was expected to start at the end of last week. San Joaquin Refining told Lube Report that the shutdown will last up to three weeks. The refinery has processing capacity of 5,800 barrels per day.
