SK, Dell, GRC Link for Liquid Immersion Cooling

SK Enmove today announced a memorandum of understanding with computer maker Dell Technologies and United States-based GRC to encourage the spread of liquid immersion cooling technology for data centers by developing technology for such systems including coolants they would use.

Jax Opens New Headquarters in Wisconsin

Jax Lubricants has completed construction of a new headquarters and a factory expansion that increases its lubricants and greases production capacity, the company announced last week. Officials said the project tripled the area of the company’s production floor and added new blending equipment.

Lubrizol Profit Down, Mr. Lube Revenue Up

Lubrizol Corp.’s pre-tax profit for the second quarter fell 25% year to year due to the fact that earnings in the same period of 2022 were inflated by insurance recoveries connected to fires at two of its factories, parent company Berkshire Hathaway reported.

Iconic – a joint venture owned by Chevron and Ipiranga – will distribute Chevron’s API Group II and III base oils in Brazil starting Sept. 1, under an agreement announced yesterday by Chevron Products Co., a division of Chevron U.S.A. Inc. Iconic created a new business structure dedicated to base oil commercialization, managed independently from their lubricants business.

Univar Solutions Inc. and Climax Molybdenum Co., announced on Aug. 17 a geographical expansion of their existing partnership for molybdenum products, including Molysulfide used in greases and coatings applications, with an exclusive distribution agreement into the Latin American market.
