Ineos Enterprisescompleted the acquisition of the chemical intermediates business of Flint Hills Resources on Dec. 1, including an intermediates production facility near Chicago, Illinois. The business manufactures maleic anhydride that is used in a number of industries, including lubricant additives, where it serves as a primary component in dispersants.
