Brazil Base Oil Output Bounces Back
April 23, 2025Oil refiners in Brazil produced 52,160 metric tons of base oil in March, according to the latest government data, the first month this year that output has kept pace with 2024.

NSF’s PFAS-free Food-grade Lube Spec
April 23, 2025United States-based public health standards organization NSF launched a certification for makers of food equipment materials, nonfood compounds and chemicals to certify their products are PFAS free, NSF announced in a press release.

April 16, 2025Korean lubricant company SK Enmove has developed a vehicle refrigerant that received an international refrigerant certification R-Number from the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-conditioning Engineers. The company claims it can improve cooling and heating performance by more than 30%. The product range has been developed in collaboration with Hyundai.
Al Masaood Group signed an agreement with UAE fuel retailer Adnoc Distribution to expand the supply of lubricants to Al Masaood’s service centers. The agreement includes automotive and industrial divisions.
