An oil products storage depot in Smolensk Oblast, Russia, was set ablaze by a Ukrainian drone attack, according to local authorities.
Wreckage from an unmanned aircraft downed by Russian defense forces ruptured tanks which ignited fuel and lubricants, the regional governor said in said in a statement on Telegram yesterday.
According to Russian authorities, the blaze is said to be under control.
Russian air defense forces shot down 10 Ukrainian drones over the region that same night. Neighboring Bryansk, Kursk and the Krasnodar territory were also attacked.
Recent Ukrainian drone attacks have targeted other depots in Stalnoy Kon and Byransk, as well as the Novoshakhtinsky refinery.
