Lubricant and fluid supplier Acculube announced last week that it has acquired OEM Fluid Management, a provider of fluid management services. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Based in Springfield, Ohio, OEM offers a series of strategies designed to help manufacturers maximize the service life of common industrial fluids – ranging from metalworking fluids to industrial oils, greases, process oils and water treatment products. It patented a fluid management program that advises industrial customers about how to select, use, filter, monitor, clean and reclaim and dispose of lubricants.
Acculube, which is based in Dayton, Ohio, supplies fluids to manufacturing and assembly plants, food processing plants, heat treaters and aircraft service companies. It specializes in water-based, environmentally-friendly products that are low in volatile organic compounds.
