Schnur to Succeed Hambrick at Lubrizol

Lubrizol Corp. named Eric Schnur – now executive vice president and chief operating officer – president effective immediately, and said he will become chairman and CEO on Jan. 2, 2017. Schnur will succeed Chairman, President and CEO James Hambrick, who begins a transition period after deciding to complete his 38-year career with the Wickliffe, Ohio-based company and fulfilling his commitment to remain in his roles for five years following Berkshire Hathaways acquisition of Lubrizol in 2011. In addition, Greg Taylor, senior vice president of corporate strategy and development, will retire later this year.
