Oleon Eyes Opportunities with U.S. Expansion

Share

Oleon, a globally recognized expert in esters and oleochemicals, is expanding its U.S. presence with a new state-of-the-art esterification and blending facility in Conroe, Texas, near Houston.

Due to be operational in early 2026, the newly expanded facility will help to meet increased demand in the region and satisfy customers’ needs for high-quality products and blends.

The site is already operating as a blending facility, but the addition of an esterification unit will provide customers with innovative, U.S.-made sustainable solutions.

Oleon’s latest investment is recognition of the region’s enormous growth potential and demonstrates its commitment to supporting the lubricant, industrial, and oil & gas markets with high-performance formulations.

When complete, the site will offer end-to-end support, from production and packaging to direct delivery, positioning Oleon as a multi-functional strategic partner for companies looking to grow within the U.S. market.

The facility enables Oleon to create customized blends – producing finished formulations on behalf of customers and thereby saving businesses from having to invest in domestic production themselves. This means shorter transit times, improved supply chain reliability, and protection from import duties and freight volatility.

With local production, warehousing, packaging, and direct delivery capabilities, Oleon is helping to ensure faster lead times and improved supply chain reliability for U.S.-based operations.

The Conroe facility is ISO 9001 and RSPO certified, and features multiple blending and storage tanks, with a full range of packaging options – from bottles and jerrycans to drums, totes (IBCs), and bulk truck delivery.

Trusted the world over, Oleon is committed to quality and operational excellence with customers benefitting from cost-efficient, flexible solutions and unparalleled expertise and support.

Oleon offers tailored solutions for industries such as lubricants, oilfields, crop protection, and industrial applications. Specializing in niche markets, it supports the development of Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants (EALs), Electric Vehicle formulations, immersion cooling solutions, and more.
