Accident Kills Oronite Worker

One worker was killed and another injured in an accident at Chevron Oronites lubricant additive factory on Jurong Island, Singapore, Sunday. The company said some manufacturing operations have been suspended pending an investigation and assessment of damage. Nynas Lifts Force Majeure Declaration

Nynas Naphthenics AB on Monday lifted a global force majeure declaration for transformer oils, issued 10 days earlier because of operational problems at its naphthenics base oil plant in Nynashamn, Sweden. Move over Shell. Theres a new partnership in line to become the first large-scale producer of gas-to-liquids base oils.
