U.S. Base Oil Price Report

The U.S. base oil market was quiet this week, with no reported changes to posted prices. Sources report a slight uptick in paraffinic orders.

At the close of the Tuesday, April 21, NYMEX session, light sweet crude futures ended the day at $48.55 per barrel, 86 cents below the week-ago settlement at $49.41.
