Esso (Thailand) Public Co. Ltd. will distribute Mobil Super Moto brand motorcycle engine oil products across Thailand, under an agreement with the countrys Auto Business Corp. The Chinese government announced it will tack an additional 25 percent tariff on dozens of U.S. products, including lubricants (excluding petroleum or oil extracted from bituminous materials) and lubricant additives, ICIS reported in an April 4 article. The U.S. administration claims the countries are in negotiation, and do not intend to start a trade war. SK Lubricants is planning an initial public offering worth roughly 1.56 trillion won (U.S. $1.45 billion) in May, claims Reuters. SK Innovation plans to sell 10.2 million shares, and issue 2.6 million new shares of SK Lubricants.
