The Fuchs Group has acquired its long-time Swiss distribution partner Aseol Suisse AG as part of its growth strategy in Switzerland. The deal, finalized Oct. 7, 2025, will merge Aseol into Fuchs Swiss Lubricants AG by year’s end. The move follows Fuchs’ earlier integrations of the Swiss subsidiary of the Lubcon Group and lubricant producer Strub & Co. AG into the same entity. Based in Reiden, Lucerne, Fuchs Swiss Lubricants now employs about 40 people and serves a range of sectors, including metalworking, medical technology, automotive, semiconductor, and pharmaceuticals. The consolidation strengthens Fuchs’ position in the Swiss market and enhances its capacity to deliver advanced lubricant solutions across diverse industrial applications.

Chevron has relaunched its Clarity line of ashless hydraulic oils to address growing demand for efficient and environmentally responsible lubricants. The refreshed lineup includes Clarity EliteSyn AW and Clarity AW, developed for high-performance applications across construction, marine, mining, and industrial operations. Both oils incorporate Chevron’s Vartech technology to minimize varnish and sludge formation while extending equipment life. Clarity EliteSyn AW, a zinc-free synthetic fluid, delivers improved oxidation and thermal stability with a TOST life exceeding 10,000 hours and performs at temperatures as low as minus 40 degrees Celsius. Field trials have shown up to 13% fuel savings and 11% productivity gains in excavator use. Clarity AW, a mineral-based version, provides similar protection and deposit control, ensuring smooth transitions from zinc-based fluids. Both products meet current ISO performance standards for modern hydraulic systems.

Lubrizol has introduced Lubrizol GO3426, a new lubricant designed for automated manual transmissions in heavy-duty trucks. The product aims to improve fuel economy, shifting performance, and long-term durability, aligning with China’s adoption of intelligent vehicle technologies and stricter emission standards. Automated manual transmissions reduce driver fatigue and improve fuel efficiency, increasing demand for advanced lubricants that ensure reliability and compliance. Henry Liu, vice president of Lubrizol Asia Pacific, said this trend underscores the need for enhanced lubricant performance in modern drivetrains. Lubrizol GO3426 features advanced base oils and additives for precise viscosity control, strong wear protection, and effective performance in low temperatures. Tested for oil drain intervals between 200,000 and 300,000 kilometers, it supports long-term operation with reduced maintenance costs. The lubricant also provides oxidative stability and seal compatibility for extended service life in demanding commercial transport conditions.
