Managing editor Lisa Tocci was honored at the 2006 NLGI International Annual Meeting as recipient of the institutes John A. Bellanti Sr.Memorial Trophy, acknowledging her meritorious service to NLGI and to the lubricating grease industry.

This honor is especially meaningful to Lisa and to her partners at LNG, as we were fortunate to call John Bellanti a friend and mentor for more than 20 years. The late president of Battenfeld Grease &Oil Corp. of N.Y.,John was agiant in this industry, and NLGIs presentation of the Bellanti Trophy to Lisa is a wonderful recognition of her tremendous commitment and contributions to the industry.
2007 promises to be a memorable year for LubesnGreases.Were hard at work preparing for the mid-year launch of afresh new magazine, a groundbreaking edition of LubesnGreases for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. LNG EMEA managing editor Tim Sullivan is collaborating closely with his new Swiss art director; well keep you posted.
This month we send U.S. and Canadian companies our annual request to update their information in our Lubricants Industry Sourcebook, to be published in July. Well be contacting companies by e-mail this year,to make It faster and easier to supply data, and well follow up by snail mail where needed.
The Sourcebook listings are free, so please reply to the short survey as soon as you receive it. Keep in mind that only companies that respond will be included in the 2007 Sourcebook.
