IMACC Corp. has sold a majority share of the assets in its corporate holdings, Myers Container LLC and Container Management Services LLC, to longtime shareholders, the Stavig family.
Under the deal, Chief Executive officer Kyle Stavig, Vice President Christian Stavig and Cody Stavig will have a controlling interest in two steel drum manufacturing facilities under Myers Container in Industry, Calif., and Portland, Ore. They will also operate four container reconditioning facilities under CMS in Hayward, Calif., Richmond, Calif., and Portland, Ore. IMACC will retain its intermediate bulk container facility in Dalton, Ga.
The steel drums serve a variety of markets including the oil, adhesive, agriculture and paint industries.
Since 1984, Portland, Ore.-based Myers Containers have been manufacturing a complete line of 8-gallon to 85-gallon carbon steel and galvanized steel drums, including salvage drums, nestable drums and containerizable drums. In April 1996, the companys 50/50 joint venture with Container Management Services created Container Management Services, LLC, which also based in Portland, Ore. It provides reconditioning services for drums and IBCs.
