Flexicon Corp.s lifting frame can move bulk bags up to 2.2 tons. The telescoping arms can be adjusted to a range of settings to accommodate containers from 32 to 47 inches square at the upper sew seam. This adjustability also allows the lifting frame to work safely with rectangular bags, the company says. Castrol Adds 0W-20
VW Oil
Castrol is helping Volkswagen Group give its customers longer engine oil life and better mileage with the introduction of its latest LongLife SAE 0W-20 engine oil, developed just for the automaker. The companys new Edge Professional brand, which will be available at VW dealerships and workshops starting in January 2017, claims to allow drain intervals of 10,000 miles or one year while delivering up to a 4 percent boost in fuel mileage. Cortec Greases Up
Cortec says its CorrLube VpCI Lithium EP Grease can lubricate bearings, fans, chassis and other metal areas, including electrical connections. The lithium complex grease provides excellent resistance to oxidation, is stable at high temperatures, and is suitable for both operating and lay-up conditions, the company claims. The grease protects against saltwater, brine, H2S, HCl and other corrosive agents, and incorporates vapor phase corrosion inhibitors for areas not in direct contact with the grease.
