ASSISTANT R&D MANAGER
The purpose of this position is to supervise the company quality sys-tem, develop new product formulations, adjust existing formulas, evaluate processes, procedures and materials; and provide technical support to sales.
Implement, oversee and maintain company quality system.
Design, test and develop new product formulations, and evaluate and adjust existing formulas.
Evaluate and approve production processes, testing procedures, new raw materials and suppliers.
Develop, review, approve and maintain product technical specifi-cations.
Provide technical information and training to sales staff, customers and industry groups.
Define and implement product and process quality assurance requirements and specifications.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
BS degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
5 years minimum experience in the quality control, R&D, testing, and manufacture of greases or equivalent.
2 years minimum in the design, setup and supervision of product R&D test programs or equivalent.
Excellent written and oral communication skills including technical writing and oral presentation skills.
2 years minimum experience in the supervision of an industry rec-ognized quality system or equivalent.
