Award-winning business editor and reporter George Gill has joined the LNG staff as editor of Lube Report, the weekly e-newsletter and North American base oil price report from LubesnGreases, replacing Tim Sullivan. George joins LNG from the Loudoun Times-Mirror in Leesburg, Va., where he was business editor and a reporter for the past 12-plus years.
Since 1994, George has reported and been responsible for the Times-Mirrors weekly business section, winning repeated top honors from the Virginia Press Association for his business and ?nancial news coverage and page design. In addition to reporting and editing Lube Report, George will contribute to the magazine.
George replaces Lube Reports founding editor Tim Sullivan, who has been promoted to managing editor of LubesnGreases Europe, Middle East & Africa Edition, a new magazine we will unveil in mid-2007. While Tim will continue to contribute to LubesnGreases and Lube Report, his primary responsibility is to plan and execute the design, editorial content and production of the new publication, created to serve the lubricants industry in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
