Orlen Premiers Platinum
Orlen Oils has launched a new line of engine oils for diesel and gasoline-powered passenger cars, Platinum Classic. These oils meet the quality requirements of the American Petroleum Institute, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) and Mercedes-Benz. The line includes products made with synthetic, semi-synthetic and mineral base stocks, and they are available in SAE 5W-40, 10W-40 and 15W-40 viscosity grades, respectively.
These oils are available in 1-liter and ergonomically friendly 4.5-liter bottles, the latter being unique on the Polish market and ideal for the average 4.5-liter oil sump in Polish automobiles. The larger containers feature an integrated funnel and practical cap.
Not Just for Ketchup Anymore
Recently introduced in the Turkish market, Bericaps hinge closures with valve function have practical use in the chemical industry for dispensing viscous materials from squeezable bottles. Dispense by applying pressure and upon release the valve closes, leaving the opening clean.
Similar closures use costly silicone valves that contaminate materials during recycling, but Bericap valve-function closures are entirely plastic-reducing the expense and improving the recycling process. Cost-saving one- or two-piece closures are available. Valve function closures can be made in multiple sizes.
Electric Motor Polyurea Grease
Lubrication Engineers announced the global launch of its new Monolec Extend EM Grease (1282), a polyurea grease for electric motor bearings. This NLGI Grade 2 grease resists oxidation and water spray-off, has a high dropping point, lengthens service life, and guards against wear, rust and corrosion. It decreases drag and offers efficiency and mechanical stability.
Monolec Extend EM helps bearings run longer and cooler, says the company, and its low oil separation prevents contamination of motor windings. It functions in high-moisture environments, in cold weather with long feed lines, and at high operating temperatures and speeds. Available in Perma automatic lubricators, 35-pound pails and 14-ounce tubes.
