Lubrizol Outlines Growth Plans

Capital expenditures at Lubrizol Additives will likely top $300 million this year and $250 million in 2013, the company’s president told a recent industry meeting. Sonneborn Changes Hands

One Equity Partners on Friday acquired white oils producer Sonneborn from Sun Capital Partners for an undisclosed amount. Sonneborn supplies white oils, petrolatums, waxes and other hydrocarbon specialty products, and has plants in Petrolia, Pa., and in the Netherlands. Rowe Builds Blending Plant

German lubricant producer Rowe Mineraloelwerk GmbH is building a second blending plant to accommodate the growth of its business. MOSCOW – Russias grease production is expected to grow at an annual rate of 5 to 7 percent after 2014, when new plants will be launched, a research study found.
