A fire devastated a motor oil warehouse in Bishkek, the capital city of Kyrgyzstan, the countrys emergency situation ministry reported.
The warehouse carried Mannol-branded products, the ministry said, citing information from witnesses at the scene. Mannol is a German lubricants brand.

The fire broke out on Saturday around 1 p.m. local time in a facility for production of foam concrete blocks, and it spread fast to the neighboring motor oil warehouse, operated by Cheksiz, an auto parts and motor oil distributor, the ministry said in a Nov 8. news release.
The emergency ministry and firefighting brigade took around 20 hours to extinguish the fire. It was completely eliminated by Sunday morning. To fight the flames, around 80 firefighters used eight firefighting vehicles, two hook-and-ladder vehicles and four water tanks, the ministry said. Rescuers and other emergency responders visited the scene.
The fire affected a total of 2,700 square meters of the Cheksiz facilities, which also carried auto parts, auto chemicals and automobile tires. Three other neighboring facilities – including another warehouse that carried around 30 tons of motor oils – were not affected by the fire, the ministry said.
The ministry of internal affairs for the Leninsky region of Bishkek has launched an investigation.
