Azelis Group will distribute Petro-Canadas white oil products to personal care and pharmaceutical sectors throughout Europe under an agreement announced last week.
Promotion, supply and distribution of the Puretol packaged product will be based out of Azelis Groups facility and laboratory Kraemer and Martin in Germany. The facility includes warehouses with climate and hazard controlled areas. Quality testing is complimented by a sampling service center.
This partnership is extremely positive for both sides, said Neil Berry, international business director for Azelis Personal Care. Combining the product expertise and quality from Petro-Canada with the market presence and application knowledge of The Azelis Group will open many opportunities and provide customer solutions for packaged white oils throughout Europe.
Azelis Group was formed in 2001 through the merger of Novorchem in Italy and Arnaud in France. The company encompasses 36 small and medium specialty distributors, operates in 26 European countries and employs nearly 1,100 people.
Petro-Canada, acquired by Suncor Energy earlier this year, blends and packages more than 350 different lubricants, specialty fluids and greases that are exported to more than 70 countries on six continents. The worlds largest producer of white oils, Petro-Canada produces them from start to finish, from integrated feedstock processing to certified white oils.
