After last weeks round of API Group I price reductions, its been a very quiet week in the U.S. base oil market. Sources report no changes to posted prices.
At the close of the Tuesday, Nov. 1, CME/Nymex session, front month light sweet crude oil futures ended the day at $92.19 per barrel, a 98 cent drop from last weeks settlement at $93.17.
Brent crude was trading at $109.22/bbl at the end of the day yesterday, down $1.79 from its week-ago level. LLS (Light Louisiana Sweet) crude was trading ata premium of about$18.10/bblto WTI on Tuesday.
