Idemitsu Adds Indiana Warehouse

Idemitsu Kosan’s U.S. subsidiary will establish a new lubricant distribution hub in Jeffersonville, Indiana, the company announced last week. The site was chosen for its proximity to Idemitsu’s manufacturing plant and access to four local interstate highways.

The average age of light vehicles in the United States increased 9%, to 11.9 years in 2020 from 10.9 years in 2011, and is projected to rise to 12.1 years in 2021, according to data in the latest report jointly published by the Auto Care Association and the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association.

ReGen III Corp. entered into a non-binding letter of intent with Oiltanking North America LLC regarding the design, construction, maintenance and operation of a used motor oil rerefinery production facility at the Oiltanking Galveston County Terminal in Texas City, Texas. At the terminal, Oiltanking handles specialty chemicals and petrochemicals with more than 87,000 cubic meters (78,000 metric tons) of storage capacity on over 200 acres.
