U.S. Base Oil Exports, Imports Both Up

The United States’ base oil exports volume jumped 34% in January, while base oil imports rose 10%, according to data released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

VT Batteries will distribute Indianapolis-based Lucas Oil’s motor oil products in South American markets – including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Ecuador, Peru and Uruguay – under an agreement announced April 4. VT Batteries established subsidiary VT Power Brasil, which will collaborate with local manufacturers in Sao Paulo, Brazil to spearhead the supply and delivery of Lucas Oil motor oils.
