New Zealand’s competition regulator has granted Z Energy Ltd. approval to acquire Caltex fuels and lubricants marketer Chevron New Zealand provided it divests some assets, including 19 retail sites.  Asia-Pacific is projected to see a 5.8 percent annual increase in alpha olefin demand by 2022 due to growth in the construction and automotive sectors, according to a report by Grand View Research.  Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific Airways selected U.S.-based lubricants supplier Eastman Aviation Solutions for a conversion of the airline’s main engine oil fleet-wide.
